Filling Applications
We often use hyaluronic acid in filler applications. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible substance with our body, it is naturally found in our skin, joints and eyes and its production decreases as we age. We aim to prevent sagging on our face by replacing the decreased amount. For this, we perform filler applications under the eyes, mid-face, cheekbones, temples, nasolabial (smile line), lips, nose, forehead, chin tip, jawline, neck lines, back of the hand. We perform these applications under the skin or on the bone. We can also fill the lines that form on our skin and do not go away with botulinum toxin injection with hyaluronic acid injection. Today, hyaluronic acid injection is also performed into the skin for moisture injection purposes in dry skin that does not have any volume loss, wrinkles but has lost its shine. Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid is used here; its permanence period was 1-3 months.
The duration of permanence in filler applications varies depending on the type of filler used, the injected layer and the person's metabolism.
Lip Fillers
Our aim in lip filler is sometimes to enlarge the lip, sometimes to eliminate asymmetry, sometimes to define the contour, and sometimes just to provide moisture. Local anesthesia is applied before the procedure, and after waiting for 15 minutes, the injection is performed. Depending on the technique used, there will be little or no edema and bruising. Again, depending on the amount applied and the patient's use of facial expressions, the permanence period varies, but is between 9-15 months.
Midface and Cheekbone Filling
Patients who want nasolabial filler in particular need volume loss in the midface. Fillers applied to the midface and cheekbones eliminate the need for nasolabial fillers and also reduce the need for under-eye fillers. Depending on the type of filler applied and the application points, a natural and younger appearance is achieved without swelling on the face. Local anesthesia can be applied before the procedure, and the procedure takes 15 minutes.
Chin Filling
In cases where the jawbone is small, the double chin appears more prominent. The chin tip muscle works harder to support the lower jawbone, but in this case, the chin tip tends to be shorter and the bottom tends to be flat. With filling applications applied to the chin tip and along the jawline, the prominence of the lower jaw is increased and a proportionate appearance is achieved on the face.
