Hair Treatments

There is a misconception today that mesotherapy and prp should be done for every hair loss. Dermatological examination and, if necessary, laboratory tests and skin biopsies are very important in hair loss. It is very important to determine whether there is a dermatological disease underlying the hair loss. A missed dermatological disease can result in permanent baldness. You should consult a dermatologist for your hair loss complaints. Laboratory tests deemed necessary may be requested as a result of dermoscopic examination of your hair roots and hair shaft.

In order to avoid hair loss, the Ferritin value, which indicates our iron stores, must be above 40. Our vitamin D and thyroid hormones must be within normal limits.

Aging plays a major role in hair graying . In addition to genetic factors, it is important that our B12 levels, selenium and zinc levels are normal. It has been observed that the graying of hair decreases in patients who have undergone mesenchymal stem cell therapy.

PRP and mesotherapy are beneficial in the disease called androgenic alopecia, which causes hair thinning over time. However, they are not therapeutic alone, but rather supportive procedures for the main treatment.

In our clinic, procedures such as PRP and mesotherapy are performed with LED therapy microneedling method in the treatment of hair loss. In order to obtain a significant response, it is important to perform the procedure at 2-4 week intervals for 6-12 months.

The FDA-approved GCell device is used for autologous micrograft application. Stem cell-rich skin pieces taken from behind the ear under local anesthesia are separated in the device and transplanted in the same session to perform "mesenchymal stem cell" treatment. After the procedure, patients are kept in oxygen cabins with LED therapy and blood flow is increased. In order to obtain a significant response, the procedure should be applied to patients at 6-12 month intervals.
