HIFU- Focused Ultrasound
Ultherapy Prime is the only FDA approved focused ultrasound device with microfocus pulsed ultrasound technology. It delivers concentrated ultrasound pulses to 3 different layers and stimulates collagen synthesis with the pulses it makes here. It provides tightening here thanks to the pulses it sends to the network layer that surrounds the muscle tissues on our face, which we call SMAS, and provides continuity with the skin layer.

This level cannot be reached by laser, gold needle or IPL/BBL devices. Plastic surgeons work at the SMAS level in facelift operations and many HIFU procedures are also called non-surgical facelifts because Ultherapy sends pulses to the SMAS. However, depending on the needs of the skin and the frequency of the procedure, Ultherapy may not replace facelift surgeries.

Especially for oily and thick skin types that are prone to sagging, having Ultherapy once a year starting at the age of 30 prevents premature sagging of the skin.
It is the right option to make the jawline more prominent in patients who have sagging in the chin area and who have lost sharpness in the jawline with the age of 30.
One of the most important areas of use for Ultherapy is the eye contour and eyebrow lift. It provides a reduction in under-eye bags and a natural lift on the eyebrow. It does this by stimulating the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
As with every collagen synthesis process, it is necessary to wait 2-3 months to see the effectiveness of Ultherapy. In patients with moderate to advanced sagging, it is recommended to repeat the procedure in the 6th month. Afterwards, permanence is achieved with 1 repeat per year.
