When we say collagen vaccine, we mean procedures that are performed by directly injecting ready-made collagen (animal or plant sourced) into our skin or by injecting Biostimulant Vaccines that are compatible with our skin and act by stimulating collagen synthesis.

In our clinic, biostimulant applications are often preferred as collagen vaccine.

Three products are used for biostimulation purposes all over the world;

1. PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid = liquid facelift)

2.PCL (polycaprolactone = smart filler)

3.CaHA (calcium hydroxyapatite = mineral vaccine)

In biostimulant procedures, after the injected product, it is necessary to wait an average of 2-3 months for collagen to be synthesized, that is, for the tightening effect to be seen. This process is the person's collagen synthesis process. After the first effect, significant results are seen in the 5th-7th months. Depending on the duration of the substance used in the body, the tightening process continues for 12-25 months.

PLLA: This substance, which is completely in powder form, is diluted and injected into the subdermal area with a needle or cannula. Although a slight edema due to dilution may be seen in the first days, this regresses within 48 hours. Depending on the need, 1-2 vials can be applied in 1-3 sessions at 45-day intervals. Its effect lasts for 2-2.5 years. In addition to collagen, which tightens our skin, and elastin, which provides elasticity; it stimulates our natural subcutaneous fat tissue. In this way, it allows the natural replacement of our fat tissue, which decreases with age or weight loss.

PCL: It is available in the syringe. If we wish, we can use it for filling purposes without diluting. Unlike classic hyaluronic acid fillers, it does not only provide volume but also tightens the area where it is applied. For this purpose, we can achieve more natural results especially in the cheekbone line, temple and jawline line. When applied with a cannula by diluting, it increases collagen and elastin synthesis in the areas where it is applied.

CaHA: It is available in a ready-made syringe. In this way, we can use it as a filler or by diluting it in various proportions for collagen stimulation. Its effect lasts for about 1 year.
